Construction and Equipment

The front frame transmits drive to two cam-controlled rotor assemblies. The hydraulic system changes the working and transport geometry, while the steered wheels keep the rake tracking accurately behind the tractor.

Work, headland turns, transport — Z206/2

3 twin rotor set positions

During operation, 2 rotors feed material onto one windrow. At the headland, hydraulics raises the rotor arms to the lower lock position; the steerable wheels merely assist in guiding the unit. For transport, the arms are raised higher and locked.

The most critical movement at the turn is performed by hydraulics: the rotor arms lift to the lower lock cutout to pass over the swath. Wheel steering merely assists in guiding the set.

  1. Front frame with PTO shaft

    Przedni koziołek łączy półzawieszaną maszynę z TUZ ciągnika. Napęd biegnie wzdłuż ramy do przekładni kątowej, a następnie wałami przegubowymi do obu wirników.

  2. Two cam-controlled rotors

    Each team has eleven output shafts. The curve lowers the fingers almost vertically above the slice and raises them when the material is removed inside..

  3. Hydraulic change of rotor spacing

    Telescopic arms adjust the distance between units, allowing the operator to select a working width within the 6,5–7,2 m range. For transport, the arms lift and lock, narrowing the machine to 2,4 m.

  4. Screen focusing the material on the axis

    The yellow screen under the main frame contains the material fed by both rotors. This prevents the raked weight from spreading sideways, creating a 1 even windrow between the assemblies.

  5. Driving system behind the frame

    Drążki przenoszą skręt przedniego koziołka na koła tylnej ramy, dlatego zgrabiarka podąża śladem ciągnika na nawrocie. Kierowany układ jezdny stabilnie prowadzi maszynę po torze ciągnika także podczas nawrotów.
