6-rotor rotary tedder Z525/4
Working width 7,5 m · 6 rotors · 36 spring tines · weight 640 kg
The machine is suspended on the tractor's three-point linkage system, driven by the PTO 540 rpm. Power requirement 45 kW, operating speed 6–12 km/h. The hydraulics raise the side arms and the outer rotors rotate separately by 180° for transport.
For farms with large areas of grassland
Z525/4 is the widest Z525 version: 7,5 m working width and six rotors. At 640 kg, the mounted machine requires at least 45 kW and tractor class 0,9. For transport, hydraulics raise the side arms and the outer rotors are then rotated manually through 180°.
7,5 m in one run.
Six rotors cover a 7,5 m working width. The dimensions in the working position are 2000 × 7200 × 1220 mm, the rotor centre spacing is 1150 mm.
PTO 540 rpm, power from 45 kW.
The rotors run at 340 rpm. The required tractor class is minimum 0,9, and the pulling force minimum 9 kN. The PTO shaft with clutch is included as standard equipment.
Hydraulic lifting, separate rotation.
The hydraulic cylinder raises the side arms to the vertical. After unlocking the mechanism, the outer rotors are rotated manually by 180°, with the tines inwards. Transport dimensions are 2000 × 2950 × 3700 mm, transport speed up to 15 km/h.
How to set the machine to work
Suspension
The machine is suspended on a three-point linkage compliant with PN-ISO 730-1+AC1:1996. Once the frame is raised, release the lock to allow the frame to operate in the floating position.
Tine height
Set the tines so that they work in the swath, not in the soil. Unevenness is copied by six support wheels with 15x6.00 6PR tires.
Speed
Working speed 6–12 km/h, PTO speed 540 rpm. Permissible terrain slope: 8,5°, single-person operation.
Key technologies
One drive input, six working units
The torque runs from the PTO through the PTO shaft and the central gearbox to six bevel gearboxes, and from them to the spring tine rotors. Select a stage to see a working section of track.
Power is transmitted through the PTO shaft with clutch, which is included as standard equipment.
The central gearbox receives the drive and distributes it along the machine's supporting frame.
Each of the six rotors is mounted on its own bevel gearbox.
The six rotors have a total of 36 double spring tines and operate at a speed of 340 rpm. Adjacent rotors rotate in the opposite direction.
Six rotors and folding in two steps
Discover the wide Z525/4: six rotors work on 7,5 m, and transport requires hydraulic lifting of the arms and separate rotation of the outer rotors.

Central frame with drive input
The three-point linkage mast carries the main gear and distributes the loads of the long frame. From here, the torque from the PTO continues to all six rotor gears.
Six working teams
Adjacent rotors rotate in opposite directions to feed material evenly between the rotors. Thirty-six double tines cover a work zone with a width of 7,5 m.
Two-step folding of the outer sections
First, the hydraulics raise the side arms. The outer rotors are then rotated manually by 180°, so the entire transport cycle cannot be described as purely hydraulic.
Six independent wheel supports
There is a wheel on each rotor, so the long machine does not base its tine position solely on the position of the tractor. The support wheels follow the terrain directly at each rotor.
