Construction

Grab frame, cylinder and arms that guide the bale

The grab holds the bale on both sides, so it can be lifted, moved and set down without tearing the material. The hydraulic cylinder closes the arms smoothly, and the EURO mounting allows the attachment to be hitched to the headstock quickly. 01The short frame makes manoeuvring easier at the trailer, the bale wrapper and the storage area. 02The rounded arms hold the bale securely without cutting into the material. 03The hydraulic hoses take the arm control directly from the carrier machine's system.

Operation

Loading, transport and setting the bale down

The grab works best with a steady approach to the bale, the arms closed close to the ground and the load carried as low as possible. The operator then keeps better control of the machine and of its stability.

Approaching the bale

Set the arms wider than the bale, drive up slowly and close the grab only once the machine is aligned with the load.

Travelling with the load

Carry the bale low above the ground, without sharp turns and without raising it over people or obstacles.

Setting down and loading

The grab is used for stacking bales, loading them onto a trailer and feeding a bale onto a wrapper.
