Key Series Data
Round Hay feeder Operation Cycle
The hinged segment opens the ring, the bale falls within the contour of the palisades, the latch closes the structure, and the animals feed through the gaps between the bows. The diagram shows the structure and the sequence of operations—without calculating rations and stocking density.
Operation stage1 / 4
The latch is released, and the hinged perimeter segment swings to the side. The ring opens without dismantling the other bays.
The bale enters the interior and rests on the full lower hoop. The galvanised wall retains the feed within the hay feeder's outline.
The segment returns to the perimeter, and the latch closes the structure. The palisades once again form a full perimeter of the stalls.
The animals ingest feed through the gaps between the hoops. Curved arches mark feeding points and limit animal pressure.
Round hay feeder design JAR-MET
Rails separate the feed stations, a solid lower hoop retains the feed, and a lockable segment makes the structure easier to maintain.

Palisades separating the stalls
The curved arches define feed intake points and reduce pressure between animals. The number of positions depends on the diameter of the specific model.
Solid lower hoop galvanised
A continuous steel wall forms the lower zone of the hay feeder and limits feed spillage outside the perimeter. Galvanization protects the structure from external use.
Closable perimeter segment
The visible hinges and closure form a serviceable circular segment. This allows the structure to be opened without disassembling the entire ring.
