Mounted Orchard Sprayers
With a Polish or Italian tank Bianco Line - for orchards, berry farms, and plantations requiring a directed air stream.
The mounted orchard sprayer is available in capacities of 300–1200 l, with a Polish or Italian tank Bianco Line and with a radial or column attachment 1,4 m. The exact design of the fan is confirmed by the consultant when ordering.
Orchards and Plantations
In an orchard, not only liquid pressure is important. Air flow, nozzle settings, tree height, crown density, and travel speed also determine effectiveness. Therefore, the selection of a fan, pump, and tank capacity should be based on the actual rows, not simply on the number of litres.
Selection for crown height and density.
For low plantings, a different configuration is sufficient than for dense, tall trees. It is important to adjust the spray pattern and limit losses outside the row.
The fan is designed to guide the liquid, not just spray it.
Proper airflow helps reach the interior of the crown and improves evenness of coverage.
The mounted design is convenient for small plots.
The compact tractor combination is easier to control in narrow passages and on short headlands.
How to select and set up the machine
Capacity
A smaller tank is better suited for short rows and light tractors; a larger tank reduces the number of fills in larger plots.
Fan
Fan Ø825; diameter is confirmed when ordering. The 1,4 m column helps direct the flow more vertically.
Adjustment
Before the season, it's worth checking the nozzles, filters, hose tightness, and uniform operation on both sides of the row.
Key Technologies
From the PTO to the nozzles
The four stages show the operating sequence: drive, liquid circulation, air flow, and opening of the nozzle section. The diagram represents the structure of the assemblies, not the coverage of a specific tree crown.
-
The PTO shaft transfers power from the tractor's power take-off shaft to the pump and the fan's belt drive. The gear ratio is 3,9, and the rotor operates at 2100 rpm.
-
The pump UDOR KAPPA 65 draws liquid from the tank through the suction filter 0,6 mm and pumps it to the control valve DL. The flow rate is 66 dm³/min at 540 rpm, and part of the flow returns to the tank through the ejector mixer.
-
The Ø825 mm radial fan draws air through the mesh cover and discharges it to both sides of the machine. Air flow rate ranges from 16 000 to 48 000 m³/h.
-
The DL valve opens two independently powered sections. The twelve nozzles of the traditional attachment inject the liquid into the air stream, and the pressure is read on a pressure gauge with a range of 0–40 bar.
The diagram shows the sequence of unit start-up. The swirl nozzles, nozzle selection, and valve equipment depend on the machine configuration.
Anatomy of a Radial Orchard Sprayer Attachment
The photo shows the configuration with a Polish tank and a circular attachment. The family is also available with an Italian tank Bianco Line; select a point to learn about the structure of the configuration shown.

Spray liquid tank
The yellow body behind the fan is the main tank. The sprayer can be ordered with a Polish or Italian tank Bianco Line; Both versions have capacities of 300–1200 litres.
Radial fan
The rotor creates an air stream that transports the droplets deep into the canopy.
Rotating unit cover
A fine mesh screen separates the operator from the blades and limits access of foreign objects to the rotor. The cover must remain intact during operation.
Spray head ring
Brass fittings visible around the perimeter feed the liquid into the air stream. The round attachment in the photo has 12 nozzles, while the parallel column variant has 10. In both variants, the nozzles are divided into two independently supplied sections.

Practical Orchard Spraying Calculator
Calculate the amount of liquid, the number of refills, and the approximate treatment time. The result does not replace sprayer calibration, but helps determine whether a larger tank, a column attachment, or additional equipment to make work easier is better.
